In the spirit of Found Magazine and Post Secret, this is a collection of not-so-polite notes between roommates, neighbors, co-workers and other co-habitators, submitted by readers of passiveaggressivenotes.com. While many of the notes concern the minutia of life in a shared space—reminders to do the dishes, take out the trash, clean the microwave, angry admonishments of whoever took “my last Starbucks frappuccino bar”—they’re all little comments on what it means to live together. Some are funny, some irritating, most just painfully relatable.
